What We Believe
We believe that our choice of kids' clothes goes beyond fashion. This is why we focus on products that use sustainably sourced materials and are made in factories that follow ethical labor practices.
Kids' clothing should not negatively impact the Earth or its people.

Organic cotton does not use pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and Genetically Modified Organisms. Of the top 10 pesticides used in the US in 2017, three of them are considered known or probable human carcinogens. Four additional pesticides of these top 10 are considered possible or suggestive human carcinogens ("Cotton and the Environment | OTA", 2018). "Organic agriculture protects the health of people and the planet by reducing overall exposure to toxic chemicals from synthetic pesticides that can end up in the ground, air, water and food supply, and that are associated with health consequences, from asthma to cancer." ("Cotton and the Environment | OTA", 2018).
Why Fair Trade?
In order for a company to become Fair Trade Certified, it must meet rigorous standards regarding "income sustainability, community and individual well-being, empowerment, and environmental stewardship"("What Fair Trade certification means"). What this means, is you can be assured that everyone involved in making this product, from start to finish, works in a safe environment and is compensated fairly.
